On Tuesday 5 February 2013 representatives of a number of law firms met at the offices of Maurice Turnor Gardner LLP (MTG) to discuss the role of the Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) under the SRA Handbook (published on 6 April 2011 and updated in Edition 2 on 23 December 2011, Edition 3 on 18 April 2012, Edition 4 on 21 June 2012, Edition 5 on 1 October 2012 and Edition 6 on 1 January 2013).
