Whilst all planning must be carefully tailored to suit the individual, structuring strategies that were once relatively standard are far less straightforward, primarily due to constant changes to the rules and the increased complexity and uncertainty that brings. The tax position is often difficult to opine on with complete certainty and the reporting obligations are onerous and seemingly ever-expanding.
