Family Governance and Disharmony
The team assists trustees, family members and others to pre-empt, avoid and resolve disharmony.
Family governance can be an effective way to pre-empt or assist with the resolution of family disputes. We have worked with families to formulate family charters (the “club rules” by which the family operates): the primary objective is to document the assumptions, understandings and expectations regarding the family’s wealth, business and succession planning generally and, in particular, how this is going to be managed, shared, applied and preserved for the future.
