Watch our Charity Seminar recording

On Monday, 27 June 2022, we held a seminar about the Kids Company case and the trends our charity law experts are seeing from a litigation and regulation perspective. Hear from the team who successfully represented one of the former trustees of the charity as they give an insight into the case.

The event was hosted by Ceris Gardner, Partner at Maurice Turnor Gardner. Speakers included Jennifer Emms, Partner at Maurice Turnor Gardner, Andrew Westwood QC of Maitland Chambers, Rosalind Hetherington, Senior Associate and Jerry Jamieson, Associate, both at Maurice Turnor Gardner. The session looks at the Charity Commission inquiry which followed the case, the important lessons for other charities and the team’s thoughts on recent and future trends in charity regulatory engagement.
