Maurice Turnor Gardner has been shortlisted in two categories at the Chambers High Net Worth Awards 2022: ‘Private Client Team of the Year,’ and ‘Rising Star’ for Partner, Jennifer Emms.
Jennifer Emms, Partner

The awards recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence and reflect achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service. They honour the work of national and international law firms across the world based on the research for the recent edition of Chambers High Net Worth.

The Private Wealth team at Maurice Turnor Gardner have a specialist focus on complex international and cross-border estate planning and succession planning for UHNW clients. Clients are both foreign and domestic and include entrepreneurs, trustees and private banks.

Jennifer Emms (pictured) was promoted to Partner in May 2021 and led the legal team for one of the trustees of Kids Company in the recent High Court proceedings; one of the biggest, high-profile cases in the charity sector in recent years.

Managing Partner at Maurice Turnor Gardner, Emma-Jane Weider said: “Seeing our Private Client team recognised in the Chambers HNW Awards shortlist this year is a testament to their impressive expertise. As a boutique firm, we are specialists in providing exceptional client service in often incredibly complex matters. Jennifer was promoted to our partnership last year and is fittingly shortlisted in the Rising Star category; she really is one to watch.”

The winners of the twelve awards will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, 21 July.
